DTFWiz Gang Sheet Builder ("the App", "we") helps Shopify merchants offer a print-ready gang sheet builder on their storefront. This policy explains what data the App processes, why, and the choices available to merchants and their customers.

Information we process

• Store information — your shop domain, store name, and the access token Shopify issues when you install the App.
• Product & order data — products you configure for the builder, and order details (order number, line items, prices, and the customer name/email on gang-sheet orders) so the App can show orders and the print-ready files you need to fulfill them.
• Uploaded artwork & designs — images your customers upload and the print-ready gang sheets they generate, stored so you can download them for printing.
• Configuration — settings you choose in the admin (sizes, prices, gallery images, watermark, branding).
• Anonymous usage counts — which builder features get used and where customers stop before checkout, so we can improve the App and you can see the same for your own store. These records contain no personal data: a random identifier that exists only for the length of one browser tab, the name of the action taken, and the sheet size. No names, emails, addresses, customer IDs, IP addresses, or uploaded file names are recorded, and nothing is stored on your customer's device (no cookies, no local storage), so two visits by the same person cannot be linked.

How we use it

Solely to provide and improve the App's features: rendering the builder, generating print-ready files, tracking orders, computing pricing, optional AI title/description generation for product images, anonymous product analytics as described above, and billing the App's fees through Shopify's Billing API (we never use a separate card processor). We do not sell your data or your customers' data, we do not use it for advertising, we use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and uploaded artwork is never used to train AI models.

Third-party processors

• Shopify — authentication, products, orders, and all billing.
• Supabase — cloud storage of uploaded artwork and generated gang-sheet files, encrypted at rest.
• DTFWiz artwork tools — when a customer uses an image tool (background removal, upscaling, vectorization, print-readiness checks), the image is sent to our own DTFWiz processing service — and, only for that specific task, its vetted image-processing providers — then returned. Images sent this way are used solely to perform the requested edit.
• Anthropic — optional AI-written product titles/descriptions in the merchant admin; only the design image being described is sent, never customer data.

Retention

We keep configuration, order, and design records while the App is installed so you can access your orders and files. Order print files are retained while the App is installed so merchants can re-download them; guest uploads that never become part of an order are automatically deleted after approximately 30 days. Anonymous usage records are reduced to daily totals and the individual records are deleted after approximately 90 days; because they identify no one, the totals are kept as long-term trend data. When you uninstall, or on a verified deletion request, associated shop and customer data is removed in line with Shopify's mandatory data-erasure webhooks (customer redaction and shop redaction).

Your customers' rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Merchants act as the data controller for their customers. We support Shopify's compliance webhooks to surface customer data on request and to erase customer or shop data when required. To make a request, contact the merchant's store, or reach us at contact@dtfwiz.com.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access tokens are stored server-side. Stored files are encrypted at rest at non-guessable, write-once paths; order file downloads use signed, tamper-proof links, and a signed-in customer's saved work is only reachable with a verified identity token. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data we process.
